The Abbey Resort in Lake Geneva provided a lovely getaway with its spacious grounds and numerous recreational options. The room was clean and stylish, featuring high ceilings and a comfortable bed. However, while the facilities and outdoor pool areas were enjoyable, some issues with service detracted from the experience. Overall, it was a memorable stay, but the unexpected maintenance disruption and beach pass communication left room for improvement.

I really wanted to love my stay at The Abbey, especially since it's so close to my heart from my wedding there. While the location and spa had their merits, the overall experience fell short due to room cleanliness and lack of service. I was let down by the room conditions and the housekeeping issues that significantly impacted my stay, making me think twice about returning.
